Niclas Fullkrug scored a brilliant goal in the first half as Borussia Dortmund beat Paris St-Germain 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Borussia Dortmund 2 - 1 PSV (Borussia Dortmund win 3-1 on aggregate)

Borussia Dortmund made it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in three years, thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus against PSV Eindhoven.

Bayern Munich 3 - 0 Lazio (Bayern Munich win 3-1 on aggregate)

Bundesliga holders FC Bayern clinched a resounding 3-0 victory over Lazio, securing their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals. 

Harry Kane and Thomas Müller led the charge, overturning Lazio's 1-0 first-leg lead in the opening half, with Kane sealing his brace in the second half for a 3-1 aggregate triumph.

Last-16 first leg

Lazio 1 - 0 Bayern Munich

Ciro Immobile scored a penalty to give Lazio a surprising victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

The penalty was scored from the spot midway through the second half after Dayot Upamecano was sent off for a foul on Gustav Isaksen.

Bayern featured the likes of Harry Kane but they were unable to respond in an underwhelming display.
This was another low point in a bad few days for Bayern after their poor result and performance against Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

Paris Saint Germain 2 - 0 Real Sociedad 

Kylian Mbappe put in a great performance for PSG as his side took control of their Champions League last-16 tie against Real Sociedad.

Mbappe, who has reportedly requested a move to Real Madrid at the end of the season scored at the back post after a corner.

Bradley Barcola added the second with a lovely finish past Alex Remiro.

 FC Copenhagen 1 - 3 Manchester City

City took control of their tie against Copenhagen after what proved to be a fairly comfortable night for them in Denmark.

De Bruyne (10'minutes), Bernardo Silva (45'minutes), Foden (90'+2minutes) gave City the goals. Copenhagen did equalise in the first-half but it never felt like they could take a result back to Manchester. 

RB Leipzig 0 - 1 Real Madrid

The 2022 winners gained the upper hand in their Champions League last-16 clash with RB Leipzig thanks to a splendid goal from Brahim Diaz.

Diaz executed a magnificent strike into the top corner early in the second half, giving Real the victory in Germany.

The talented Spanish midfielder stepped up in place of Jude Bellingham, who was sidelined due to injury.

His goal positions Real favourably to advance to the quarter-finals for the 12th time in the last 14 seasons.

FC Copenhagen 4 - 3 Manchester United

On a wild night in Copenhagen, fans witnessed seven goals, two spot-kicks, a game-altering red card, a protester causing a stir, and a thrilling last-minute winner courtesy of a 17-year-old substitute.

Gabriel Jesus played a pivotal role in helping Arsenal secure a much-needed victory in the Champions League against Sevilla.

Andre Onana saved a penalty in the final seconds to give Manchester United a dramatic victory against Copenhagen.

Manchester United 2 - 3 Galatasaray 

The Red Devils have endured a tough run of form this season. 

It took a turn for the worse as they suffered a defeat to Galatasaray in the Champions League at Old Trafford.

UCL: Man United's struggles continue

AC Milan 0 - 0 Newcastle United

With a 0-0 draw at the San Siro, Newcastle earned what could prove to be a vital point after holding a dominant AC Milan to their first Champions League match in over twenty years.

Eddie Howe's side qualified for the group stages for the first time since the 2002/03 season, joining Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Milan, last year's semifinalists.

After drawing a tense play-off first leg with PSV Eindhoven at Ibrox, Rangers' hopes of qualifying for the Champions League group stages hang in the balance.

PSV 5 - 1 Rangers

A 5-1 demolition of PSV Eindhoven ended Rangers' hopes of playing in the Champions League again.

Borussia Dortmund 0- 2 Real Madrid Real Madrid overcame a formidable challenge from underdogs Borussia Dortmund to secure the Champions League title at Wembley. Carlo Ancelotti made history once again with his fifth win as a manager in the competition, while Real Madrid claimed their 15th title in typical fashion. They weathered a stormy first half and several missed opportunities from Dortmund before emerging victorious. A brief summary of the match Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi missed two chances in the first half, and striker Niclas Fullkrug struck the post.  Germany 5 - 1 Scotland There were six goals in the first game of Euro 2024. Unfortunately for Scotland, they only managed one. Pictures from the Euro 2024 Opening Ceremony The atmosphere at Allianz Arena was electric right from the start. Just ten minutes in, Florian Wirtz effortlessly found the net to open the scoring. Shortly after, Jamal Musiala unleashed a powerful shot that almost broke both Angus Gunn’s net and the hearts of the stunned Scottish fans behind the goal. Before half-time, Kai Havertz made it three from the penalty spot, following Ryan Porteous’ red card which left Scotland facing an uphill battle. Substitute Niclas Fullkrug added a fourth for Germany with a high shot into the net, though Antonio Rudiger’s late deflected own goal offered a glimmer of hope for Scotland. Their joy was short-lived, however, as Emre Can silenced the Scottish supporters deep into injury time. This result marked the biggest win in the opening game of a European Championships.  Euro 202
