It´s thought that around 2,000 people were in attendance. It is believed that this could have been greater but for the International Exhibition taking place the same day through in the West End. 1967 Scottish League Cup final This may seem like an odd place to start but it was the first trophy in Celtic's best-ever season that finished with being the first British side to win the European Cup. Scotland - Rangers sign Aaron Ramsey on loan Rangers were clearly delighted with the loan signing of Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey from Juventus until the end of the season. The Welsh international told the Rangers website : “I am really pleased to be joining a club like Rangers, where there is so much to look forward to between now and May. “I had a number of offers on the table, but none matched the magnitude of this club, with European football and the chance to play in front of 50,000 fans every other week. Deadline Day: Everton sign Donny van de Beek on loan

Everton have announced the signing of Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan until the end of the season. The Dutch midfielder has been allowed to leave Old Trafford by interim boss Ralf Rangnick after struggling for game time. Previous rumours had indicated that Crystal Palace were also interested in the Dutchman, while there were also enquiries from abroad. However, Van de Beek has elected to link up with Frank Lampard, who was recently confirmed as Chelsea manager. Back in July, he was also linked with a move to Barcelona. Since signing for Manchester United in 2020, Van de Beek has struggled at the club. He has appeared in only 50 matches, with the vast majority coming from the bench. Several United fans have repeatedly questioned his lack of involvement in the team. Perhaps, a temporary move to Everton will allow him to kick start his Premier League career? Tottenham have announced two Deadline Day signings from Juventus. The Uruguay midfielder Bentancur joins for an initial fee of just under £16m. This fee could rise by £5m. With the Premier League on a form of winter break, the Scottish Premiership took centre stage for some fans. Let's take a closer look at what happened with the top two Celtic 1 - 0 Dundee United Ten man Celtic narrowed the gap on Premiership leaders Rangers to two points through Liel Abada's late goal against Dundee United. For most of the game, it looked as if  Dundee United were about to do enough to leave Celtic Park with their second draw of the season. PL news: Lampard to become Everton manager

Reports suggest that Frank Lampard has finalised a two-and-a-half-year deal to become Everton's new manager. He completed the formalities of his contract on Sunday. The 43-year-old replaces Rafael Benitez, who left the club earlier this month after an awful run of one win in 13 games. An official announcement on Lampard is expected from Everton on Monday. The former England midfielder had previously managed Derby County and Chelsea Reaction One Everton fan told us: "I think this will turn out to be a great appointment. He's young and will have fresh ideas. Aside from a brief months with Ancelotti, the club has gone very stale in recent years." Another added: "Have we finally made a sensible appointment?"
