Transfer News: Manchester United sign Mason Mount

Manchester United have announced the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea. The 24-year-old midfielder is Ten Hag's first signing of the summer in a transfer deal worth an initial £55m, plus a possible £5m in add-ons. Mount has signed a five-year contract with the option for a further year. Chelsea rejected United's first three bids for Mount before an agreement was reached. The tournament kicks off on July 20th and will debut an expanded 32-team format, resulting in a full month of top-flight international football.
