Barcelona failed to find a win that would have taken them up to fourth place in La Liga. Sevilla took the lead after Ivan Rakitic rolled the ball into the area for Alejandro Gomez's first-time finish. Ronald Araujo's header levelled before half-time and despite Jules Kounde being sent off for throwing the ball at Jordi Alba, Barca could not breakthrough. PL News: Manchester City warn Phil Foden & Jack Grealish warned over conduct

Manchester City have warned Phil Foden and Jack Grealish have been warned over their conduct after they were left out of their win over Newcastle on Sunday. The England pair were pictured on a night out after City's 7-0 home thrashing over Leeds. City are currently top of the Premier League and the win at Newcastle was their 34th league victory of 202. This is a new record for the most top-flight wins by a team in a calendar year. Foden and Grealish have both been integral to this great run of form. Grealish has appeared in matches since his huge transfer from Aston Villa in the summer.  Foden is a great role model for City's academy but he needs to stop the occasional off the pitch issue.     Pep Guardiola will hope this momentary lack of discipline doesn't become a regular thing.  The City boss told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I pay a lot of attention to behaviour on and off the pitch. Bundesliga: Bayern Munich 4 - 0 VfL Wolfsburg

Robert Lewandowski scored his 43rd Bayern Munich goal of 2021 to break Gerd Muller's record for the most league goals in a calendar year. The Poland striker volleyed home three minutes from the end of the match as Bayern thrashed Wolfsburg 4-0 at Allianz Arena. The win moves Bayern nine points clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga.  Midfielder Thomas Muller opened the scoring on seven minutes before setting up Dayot Upamecano with a header in the second half to double Bayern's lead. Leroy Sane added to the scoreline two minutes later with a curled shot into the top corner to put the game beyond 12th-placed Wolfsburg. On 87 minutes Lewandowski wrote his name in the history books yet again by firing in from close range past goalkeeper Koen Casteels. Post-match reaction  Thomas Müller said: "The most important thing for me was that we won the game, so that we go into the Christmas holiday with a good feeling. Now the focus is on family and friends."
