Real Madrid 2 - 0 Chelsea Real Madrid comfortably beat Chelsea in their Champions League quarterfinal first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu in a match whose final scoreline could have easily been more emphatic. Benfica 0 - 2 Inter Milan Romelu Lukaku scored an 82nd-minute penalty as Inter Milan put themselves in a strong position to advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League after a deserved win away to Benfica. Nicolo Barella's downward header gave Inter the lead in the quarter-final first leg in Lisbon. Originally a forward, he mainly played as a left-back.Evra served as captain for both Manchester United and the France national team. Evra started his career with the Italian club Marsala. The following season, he joined Monza but returned to France a year later to play for Nice where he was converted into a full-back.  Wrexham 3 - 2 Notts County Wrexham took a huge step towards promotion from the National League with a thrilling win over rivals Notts County at the Racecourse Ground. John Bostock gave the visitors the lead with a fantastic freekick on the stroke of half-time before Paul Mullin swept home to restore parity just five minutes after the restart. Mullin then turned provider to tee up for Jacob Mendy to put the Reds in front before County came back again through Kyle Cameron's header. But a thrilling contest swung back into Wrexham's favour, and they got themselves out in front again when Elliot Lee slotted home in what appeared to be the winner. Premier League: Palace thrash Leeds

 Leeds United 1 - 5 Crystal Palace Crystal Palace staged a remarkable second-half turnaround to give a significant boost to their Premier League survival hopes. This stunned Leeds and left them with plenty of work to do in their own bid to avoid a trip to the Championship. Palace dominated the second half. For as sharp and hungry as Leeds were in the first 45 minutes, they were disjointed and lethargic after the break as the players and fans were left in disbelief as Palace tore them apart.
