Premier League news: Chelsea ownership latest

Chelsea Football Club have updated their fans on the latest news regarding the ownership of the club The statement reads "Chelsea Football Club can confirm that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjoerg Wyss, to acquire the Club. "Of the total investment being made, £2.5bn will be applied to purchase the shares in the Club and such proceeds will be deposited into a frozen UK bank account with the intention to donate 100% to charitable causes as confirmed by Roman Abramovich. UK Government approval will be required for the proceeds to be transferred from the frozen UK bank account." "In addition, the proposed new owners will commit £1.75bn in further investment for the benefit of the Club. The 2022 Europa Conference League Final will be the final match of the first season of Europe's newest club football tournament organised by UEFA.  It will be played on 25 May 2022 at the Arena Kombëtare in Tirana, Albania between Roma and Feyenoord. Let's have a look at how both teams reached the final. Roma 1 - 0 Leicester City (Aggregate 2-1) Leicester City missed out on a place in the final after losing 1-0 at Roma. Tammy Abraham's powerful header for the home side was the difference as Leicester struggled to make a decent impact at the Stadio Olimpico. It was a huge weekend in the bid to secure Premier League football for next season. First of all. Aston Villa 2 - 0 Norwich City Norwich were relegated from the Premier League after a defeat against Aston Villa at Villa Park. Burnley scored two goals in the final seven minutes to complete a comeback that pulled them five points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
