Wolves have a new manager They have appointed Rob Edwards as their new manager on a three-and-a-half-year deal following the dismissal of Vitor Pereira. The former Wales international, who made 111 appearances for Wolves between 2004 and 2008, previously managed Luton Town in the Premier League. His first match in charge will be against Crystal Palace at Molineux following the international break. Swansea City have dismissed head coach Alan Sheehan. This was just over six months after the club appointed him as their permanent manager. Another big European side making a managerial change Ajax have confirmed they will part ways with manager John Heitinga less than six months after he took charge, following a poor run of results. Author | Jack L Heitinga, 41, won five of his 11 Eredivisie matches, with the Amsterdam side now eight points behind league leaders Feyenoord. The club have also lost all four of their Champions League fixtures this season, including a 3-0 home defeat to Galatasaray on Wednesday. Heitinga, a former Everton defender, served as Arne Slot's assistant last season when Liverpool claimed the Premier League. The 54-year-old has signed a deal running until the summer of 2027, becoming Forest’s third permanent manager of the season.
