EFL: Huddersfield Town appoint Neil Warnock

Neil Warnock is back in football Huddersfield Town have reappointed Warnock for his second spell as manager, with the 74-year-old coming out of retirement to take charge. He returns almost 30 years after his first stint, during which he led the Terriers to promotion via the third-tier play-offs in 1994-95. The club are currently 23rd in the Championship and a point from safety. Warnock during his time with Cardiff City He becomes Huddersfield's third manager of the season, after Danny Schofield and Mark Fotheringham. Warnock's appointment is until the end of the season. This means he is the club's fifth permanent boss in less than three years. He certainly has a battle on his hands to keep them in the Championship. Will he succeed? FA Cup: Forest progress after all Championship tie

Nottingham Forest 2 -  1 Huddersfield Town Forest came from behind to beat Championship rivals Huddersfield Town. They have set up a home FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool. Tom Lees' opening goal came moments after Forest's Sam Surridge thought he had scored on his first start - only to be denied by an offside flag. Surridge's side-footed effort did draw his side level before Ryan Yates nodded home to complete the fightback. Forest have not made the last eight of the FA Cup since 1996. Huddersfield, who have not made the quarter-finals since 1972, were on an long unbeaten run across all competitions. Championship: Huddersfield pick up comfortable win

Huddersfield Town 3 - 0 Peterborough United Two first-half goals put Huddersfield on the way to a thoroughly dominant victory over relegation-threatened Peterborough that moved the Terriers up to second in the Championship. OIlie Turton hit the bar while Lewis O'Brien and Duane Holmes both twice went close before Lees finally added Town's third by heading home Harry Toffolo's cushioned knockback from another corner. The victory pushed Carlos Corberan's side above Bournemouth but the Cherries have five games in hand on Huddersfield and will return to the second automatic promotion spot if they avoid defeat at Preston on Saturday. --- You can watch the highlights of the match in the video below. Championship: Cardiff City 2 - 1 Huddersfield Town

Two goals from  Kieffer Moore earned Cardiff City a first win in 11 games against Huddersfield Town. Huddersfield took the lead after Daniel Sinani took advantage of poor defending by the Bluebirds to put them ahead early on. The game appeared to be slipping away again from Cardiff, but Kieffer Moore headed home Joe Ralls' corner and draw the Bluebirds level with just over 15 minutes to go.  In injury time, Moore stepped up again. This time the cross came from youngster Isaak Davies' cross to put an end to the Bluebirds' miserable form and give the caretaker manager Steve Morison win.
