Our friends at News Ball posted on Facebook: "That was a fascinating match to watch. I'm sure for many, the temptation would be to label Real Madrid lucky. However, it happens too often for this description to be justified. Real Madrid were mediocre for large parts of the final, but they ended up writing another fresh chapter in their history. You need to look at the future of Real Madrid. Very few would bet against them winning it again next year, especially with a certain French forward in their side.

For Dortmund fans, they created an amazing atmosphere. However, they will be disappointed that they failed at the final hurdle."

The Express Tribune posted also posted on Facebook: "Real Madrid secured their 15th European Cup with a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium. Despite a dominant first half from Dortmund, which saw multiple missed opportunities.

"Real's experience and resilience shone through. Late goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinícius Júnior clinched the win, breaking Dortmund hearts. The atmosphere at Wembley was electric, with the famous 'Yellow Wall' of Dortmund fans in full voice. However, Real Madrid's strategic brilliance ultimately prevailed. The victory was celebrated with chants and jubilation by Madrid supporters, further cementing their legacy in European football.

"This win extends Real's unbeaten streak in European Cup finals since 1981, showcasing their dominance on the grandest stage."

Jude Bellingham posted on Twitter/X: "CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!! 🏆

Siempre HALA MADRID 🤍"

He also told TNT Sports after the match: "I've always dreamed of playing in these games. When it gets hard at times you start to wonder if it's all worth it - but nights like tonight make it all worth it."

He also about his history with Borussia Dortmund: "The club I’m at now is so special to me and so is my old club. It wouldn’t be possible without them. I'll always be grateful and always have respect for what that club did for me."

The official Borussia Dortmund Facebook account made a post that translates as: "The dream has been blown away. BUT: The boys on the grass and you in the stands were just unbelievable - THANK YOU for this support! 💛

"And we will always be Borussia, there will never, never, never another club! Dortmund, Dortmund!"

They also commented with an additional post: "Disappointed, sad, maybe heartbroken – but also proud of what we‘ve accomplished"
