Brentford thrash Southampton in awful day for new Saints boss

Southampton 0 - 5 Brentford Bryan Mbeumo’s double helped Brentford secure their first Premier League away win of the season with a dominant victory over struggling Southampton. The returning Jansson was stepping out of defence to shadow Argentina’s World Cup winner, Mac Allister, wherever he went. That left space in the right centre-back position which Brighton tried to exploit. Kevin Schade led the line for Brentford with Igor Thiago sidelined by a meniscus injury.
