This anger has been further fuelled by the revelation that this exorbitant price will apply equally to adults, children, and seniors, regardless of where you sit in the ground. Oldham Athletic fans have been protesting about the running of their club. Pity so many within the media ignored it.  A recent article in The Guardian mentions: "Late payments of salaries, threats of player strikes and threats of administration have punctuated Abdallah Lemsagam’s reign." Football will return to Gigg Lane next season for the first time since 2019. A vote to merge Bury FC and Bury AFC passed and paved the way for football to return to the iconic stadium. <More Non League news> Members of both clubs failed to reach a two-thirds majority in a previous first merger vote in October. This time over 90% of the Bury FC Supporters' Society and 97% of Bury AFC members voted to form one club to play at Gigg Lane from next season. This unified club in Bury also qualifies for local council and government levelling up funding. What league with the team play in? Harborough Town 1 - 0 Bury FC Author - Thomas J It was heartbreak for fans of Bury in the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Many of their fans will be glad to just have a team to support now after all their problems.  It was reported that 600 away fans travelled down from Bury. They travelled with their tinfoil FA Cup trophies, There was a flag of sheer defiance that stated: "Shook by anger, we shed many tears, they tried to destroy us, we are still here." These fans travelled to Harborough full of hope as they remained unbeaten in the North West Counties and believed they could reach the FA Cup proper for the first time since their expulsion from the EFL in 2019. We beat Tottenham 3-1 and was mesmerised by the sights and sounds. In the previous weeks, we had thrown away a lead at the top of old First Division and lost the title to Leeds United. My dad knew this would be my first game and thought it would be a title party, sadly he was mistaken. We only had to wait another year to finally clinch the title and we were both there as we celebrated winning the first-ever Premier League.
