Bundesliga: It was a great night for Harry Kane

 Bayern Munich 3 - 1 FC Augsburg

It was a memorable first home Bundesliga match for Harry Kane,

The England captain scored twice for Bayern in their Bundesliga opener at home. This victory helped the rivals maintain their winning streak at the start of the league season.

Watch the highlights from the match in the video below.

Kane had the honour of being the first English player to register goals in his first two Bundesliga games. The big move was made when he expertly dealt with a penalty midway through just before the half-time break.

The former Tottenham forward used the back of his foot to seal the win for the team with a fine finish, setting up a 3-1 win after the break as Thomas Tuchel-led Bayern Munich went on to win on the snow.

After a bright start, Bayern Munich found their rhythm and cashed in when Leroy Sane's shot hit the post and deflected past goalkeeper Felix Uduokhai into the net.

Niklas Dorsch was later penalized by referee Sascha Stegemann for handball. The decision was made after a video review by the assistant referee, which saw Kane accurately overturn the penalty.

Bayern Munich declared more enthusiasm in the second half. Sane’s skilful shot missed the mark as it hit the post. Alfonso Davies later set up Kane, who was sidelined and unmarked, allowing him to calmly guide the ball into the net.

In the final moments of the match, substitute Dion Beljo managed to evade defenders and score a consolation goal for the opposing team. Kane, meanwhile, missed a chance to complete the hat-trick when his header went wide of goal.

But Kane's scoring streak has continued, stretching to the last seven league games, a record that goes back to his time in the Premier League.
