Newcastle close in on signing Leicester’s Harvey Barnes
It has been reported in several media outlets that Newcastle United are close to beating Aston Villa and West Ham to the signing of the Leicester winger, Harvey Barnes. Those reports seem to suggest that Eddie Howe wants to increase his options on the left wing, and Newcastle are expected to win the race for Barnes.
Ryan, a Newcastle fan told us: "This would be a great signing for us. The extra games next season are going to add up very quickly and we need the numbers to compete in different competitions."

Manchester United will be looking for a new goalkeeper
The Spanish keeper has confirmed that he is leaving Manchester United after a 12-year spell where he won numerous trophies including a Premier League in 2013, FA Cup in 2016 and Europa League in 2017. Liam, a Manchester United Season Ticket holder, told us: "He has been a great player for us but this is probably the correct decision."
The now former United Goalkeeper tweeted: "I just wanted to send this farewell message to all Manchester United supporters. I would like to express my unwavering gratitude and appreciation for the love from the last 12 years. We’ve achieved a lot since my dear Sir Alex Ferguson brought me to this club. I took incredible pride everytime I pulled on this shirt, to lead the team, to represent this institution, the biggest club in the world was an honour only bestows upon a few lucky footballers."

Manchester United fans have been getting used to the sight of the former Chelsea player training in United colours. The 24-year-old midfielder is Ten Hag's first signing of the summer in a transfer deal worth an initial £55m, plus a possible £5m in add-ons.
