PL news: Lampard to become Everton manager

An official announcement on Lampard is expected from Everton on Monday.

The former England midfielder had previously managed Derby County and Chelsea

One Everton fan told us: "I think this will turn out to be a great appointment. He's young and will have fresh ideas. Aside from a brief months with Ancelotti, the club has gone very stale in recent years."

Another added: "Have we finally made a sensible appointment?"

Last month, Lampard spoke with Sky pundit Gary Neville about wanting to get back into football. Will he prove to be a good fit for Everton?
