Manchester United 3 - 0 Leicester City Manchester United defeated Leicester City 3-0 at Old Trafford to move within five points of the top of Premier League leaders Arsenal. Marcus Rashford scored with the Reds’ first shot of the match in the first half before he added to his tally with another strike following half-time. Manchester United 3 - 0 Tottenham Hotspur Elisabeth Terland netted her first two goals for Manchester United, guiding them to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Tottenham in the Women's Super League. Author - Olivia T Terland, who made the switch to United from Brighton in July, opened the scoring at Leigh Sports Village by smashing in a cross from ex-Spurs forward Celin Bizet, with the ball bouncing in off the underside of the crossbar. The Norwegian duo combined once more just a minute later, with Terland nodding in Bizet's curling cross to the far post, giving United a solid advantage before half-time. Substitute Davide Frattesi scored in the 95th minute after Lautaro Martinez's strike hit the post from close range. Lazar Samardzic had previously opened the scoring late in the first half, capitalising on a defensive mix-up by Yann Sommer and Denzel Dumfries. Hakan Calhanoglu scored from the penalty spot. Wales 0-3 England Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden star for England Rashford and Foden capitalised on their starting roles to help England knock Wales out of the World Cup with a 3-0 win which also secured the top spot in Group B, setting up a last-16 tie with Senegal. England boss Gareth Southgate had been criticised since the disappointing goalless draw with USA about Foden's lack of game time in the tournament so far and the Manchester City forward showed what he can bring to this stage at the start of the second half. After a dull first 45 minutes, any hope Wales had of qualifying for the last 16 was wiped out as England scored twice within six minutes of the restart. Ronaldo, who was in tears after Jan Oblak's brilliant save of his penalty in the 105th minute, was consoled by his teammates. Chesterfield 0 - 3 Nottingham Forest  Nottingham Forest kicked off their pre-season with a 3-0 win against Chesterfield, courtesy of goals from Chris Wood, Josh Bowler, and Ibrahim Sangare. The visitors could have taken a 3-0 lead within the first 15 minutes, having created a trio of excellent chances. Emmanuel Dennis and Anthony Elanga both forced saves from Chesterfield's goalkeeper, Ryan Boot, while Nicolas Dominguez hit the post with a shot from the edge of the area. Forest believed they had taken the lead just before the half-hour mark, but Dennis was adjudged to have fouled Boot when heading in a free-kick, and the goal was disallowed. Despite creating several more chances, including efforts from Ryan Yates and Elanga, they couldn't find a way past Boot before half-time.
