Manchester United defeated Leicester City 3-0 at Old Trafford to move within five points of the top of Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Marcus Rashford scored with the Reds’ first shot of the match in the first half before he added to his tally with another strike following half-time.

His countryman Jadon Sancho, who was introduced as a substitute, completed the scoring shortly after the hour mark.

The win and performance have got Man United fans very excited. Can they win the title?

United's Dalot had missed a great chance when it was only 1-0.

For Rashford, the brace increased his goals tally this season to 24 in all competitions – the most he has ever managed for the club in a single campaign.

Manchester United fans were delighted

I honestly didn't see it coming. That was some passing. Sancho effortlessly receiving and chipping it into the goal was spectacular."

Computerkopman123 added on the same platform: "That 2nd half was the best football we played all season. There was a swagger and finesse to the way we played. Everybody was so relaxed and confident. It was great to see."

How about fans of the away team? 

One Leicester City fan asked the question: "Imagine if we had a keeper who could actually make saves like De Gea?"

Another was concerned about their overall performance this season. Despite some decent results recently, they still have something of a fight to avoid a relegation battle. Jon said: "We have played 23 games and have 24 points. I can't remember Leicester being this bad since a Championship season. "

What did those involved think?

The Manchester United boss is clearly looking forward to the next home match against Barcelona. Everyone is very excited about the second-leg.

The Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers was happy with some aspects of his side's performance. He told club's media platforms: "The first half was good and we showed the form that we've been in." 

Victor Kristiansen reflected on their missed chances. He added: ""If we had scored on those chances, it would be a different game."
