That 1-1 draw for Guardiola’s side means Arsenal go into the last game of the season four points clear of their closest challengers.

We asked several Arsenal fans how they were feeling...

Darren summed up the mood in simple terms: “Come on you Gunners. What a season. A fantastic achievement.” After years of near misses and frustration, the overwhelming feeling was one of happiness and release.

For Elaine, it was “pure joy”, even if Arsenal had tested supporters’ nerves along the way. “They put us through hell at times,” she said, “but I never doubted it was our time.”

James said: "The scenes outside the ground last night were amazing. Imagine what it's gonna be like if we win the Champions League."

Lesley’s emotions were more complicated. Her elder brother, a lifelong Arsenal supporter, died unexpectedly shortly after Christmas. The title triumph was something they had dreamed about together for more than two decades. “I punched the air and then cried,” she said. “RIP, bro. This one’s for you.”

Areon described the sense of relief after 22 years of waiting. Supporting Arsenal, he admitted, has often meant watching others celebrate while the club fell short at the final hurdle. “Years and years of being the bridesmaid, never the bride, is finally over,” he said.

For Owen, the closing weeks of the campaign had been almost unbearable. Defeats against Bournemouth and Manchester City, along with a tense display against Burnley, had left supporters fearing another collapse. “I’m so relieved,” he said. “I have to remember to enjoy the moment too.”

Iain admitted the title win still felt surreal, particularly as it was confirmed without Arsenal even kicking a ball. “It hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said. “I’m just looking forward to seeing the team on Sunday with a weight lifted, and a Champions League final to look forward to.”
