Celtic clinch the title after thrashing Dundee United
Dundee United 0 - 5 Celtic
Celtic clinched a fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title and a 13th in 14 seasons after brushing aside a disorganised Dundee United at Tannadice.

Brendan Rodgers’ side needed only a point to seal the championship but did so with some flourish, making the Northern Irishman the most decorated living Celtic manager with 11 honours, behind only Willie Maley and Jock Stein.
Three years on from celebrating Ange Postecoglou’s first Premiership triumph at this same ground, thousands of travelling Celtic fans witnessed another title confirmed well before half time.
Nicolas KĂĽhn’s second goal of the day, Celtic’s third, marked their 100th in the Premiership this season and effectively snuffed out any early spark from the hosts.

When Adam Idah added two more after the break, first with a header and then a low finish to make it 5-0 before the hour, United’s early promise had long since evaporated. They had started brightly but collapsed after half an hour, when a Ryan Strain own goal under pressure from Jota, who later departed with a suspected knee injury, put Celtic in front. KĂĽhn’s quickfire double, both set up by Daizen Maeda, left the home side chasing shadows.
Before kick-off, Rodgers had challenged his players to surpass the 106 league goals scored by his invincible treble-winning team of 2016-17.
Now needing just five more from their remaining four matches, Celtic look well placed to set a new mark with room to spare.

Celtic fan Steve was full of praise for the manager, saying: "Many fans, including myself, were skeptical when Rodgers returned to Celtic because of how he left. The only way he could win over the fans was by winning games with style, securing trophies, and making progress in the Champions League. He has managed to achieve that."
This was a view supported by Tommo, who said: "Another fantastic day to be a Celtic supporter. I feel like the manager is now forgiven after what has been a brilliant season."
Carter added: "You can only beat what's in front of you and that's what the players have done all season. This relentless nature is what we're all about now. Fair play to the manager who has the club of another domestic treble."
