Rangers stun Celtic with late winner
Celtic 2 - 3 Rangers
Rangers revelled in their second round of jubilant celebrations in just four days as Hamza Igamaneās stunning late goal inflicted Celticās first Scottish Premiership home defeat since December 2023.

Barry Fergusonās side made a blistering start, storming into a two-goal lead by half-time. Nico Raskin glanced in a flicked header early on, before Mohamed Diomande drilled a low shot into the net to put the visitors firmly in control.
However, with the exertions of Thursdayās dramatic Europa League triumph over Fenerbahce beginning to take their toll, title-chasing Celtic mounted a spirited fightback. Daizen Maeda powered home a towering header, and Reo Hatate coolly slotted in an equaliser to set up a frantic finale.
With momentum seemingly swinging in the hostsā favour, it was Rangers who delivered the decisive moment. Igamane capitalised on Alistair Johnstonās slip to unleash a sensational strike, securing the Ibrox clubās first victory at Celtic Park since 2020.
The result closes the gap between the Glasgow rivals to 13 points, meaning Celtic may now have to wait until after next monthās Premiership split to seal the title.
Group of Celtic fans denied entry to the match
Ninety fans were denied entry to the Old Firm match after it was believed they refused to be searched by police. It had been reported that officers were granted special powers to stop fans they suspected of being involved in criminal activity. We'll have more on this when we have it.

Conor, a Celtic fan, told us: "Our pace was very slow for most of the game. Playing from the back doesnāt suit us because our defenders arenāt technically skilled enough, and we struggle with a high press. We really missed our captain. Some players seemed hesitant to make passes and kept playing the ball backward. Rodgers needs to address these issues. However, we are still in contention for the treble."
Mark Lee, a Rangers fan, was happy with the result. However, he is also annoyed with their lack of consistency. Mark said: "It was a great show, just like our last league meeting against Celtic. However, when we can't beat teams like St Mirren and Motherwell, it feels like a hollow victory. Those celebrations at the end of the match were a bit weird. These players need to celebrate like that when we're challenging for the league again."
