UCL: Barca thrash Swiss side
Barcelona 5 - 0 Young Boys
Robert Lewandowski netted twice as Barcelona cruised to victory over Young Boys in the Champions League.
Lewandowski opened the scoring just eight minutes in, slotting home Raphinha’s cross at the far post. Barca soon doubled their advantage, with Raphinha tucking away the rebound after Pedri’s initial shot was blocked.
The La Liga leaders were in full control, and just three minutes later, Iñigo MartÃnez added a third, heading in from close range following a pinpoint free-kick from Pedri.
Barcelona extended their lead early in the second half, with MartÃnez nodding the ball back across goal for Lewandowski to tap in his second of the night.

Young Boys’ best opportunity came when Joel Monteiro's effort struck the crossbar, but their night went from bad to worse in the 81st minute when Mohamed Ali Camara inadvertently turned Alejandro Balde's cross into his own net.
Monteiro thought he had pulled one back for the visitors in stoppage time, but his low finish was ruled out for offside after a VAR review.
The Swiss champions remain winless, having already suffered a 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa in their opening match.
Lewandowski’s sharp instincts saw him pounce on two chances inside the box, as the Young Boys defence struggled to contain him. His brace brought him closer to a Champions League milestone—he became only the second player, after Cristiano Ronaldo, to score more than 50 goals in the competition after turning 30. He now has 96 Champions League goals overall, though he would have been disappointed to be substituted before having the chance to complete his hat-trick.
Captain Raphinha was also in superb form, both scoring and assisting, as Barcelona completely dominated their opponents. He had six shots and created six key chances, showcasing a much-improved team performance following their 2-1 defeat to Monaco.
