A closer look at England's chances. Is football coming home again?

Let's look back to the summer of 2022 when England created history by winning their first major women's tournament in a dramatic Euro 2022 final against old rivals Germany. Chloe Kelly got what proved to be the winner to send the record crowd of 87,192 wild. Can they go one better and become world champions in addition to their European crown?

Chloe was in attendance at England's recent 0-0 draw against Portugal. She said: "I think we have a great chance of winning. We might need a bit of luck but we have a fantastic squad capable of going all the way."

You can watch the highlights of that match against Portugal in the video below.

Rebecca was also in attendance in Milton Keynes. She added: "It wasn't the best performance but a good exercise ahead of the upcoming tournament. A good opportunity for the players to get together."

In terms of the other European nations, Germany might also fancy going all their way alongside the likes of Spain.

Across England and many other nations, there has really been a push on the promotion to try and entice viewers to watch from home. Take a a look at this advert from ITV.
