It's all in Wrexham's hands

In truth, even if the penalty had gone in, Wrexham would have still have been favourites for the title. However, because of the win, they move back to the top of the National League on 103 points, three ahead of the Magpies, with four games to play.

The club also has the luxury of a game in hand. Their hopes of ending a 15-year exile from the English Football League are starting to gather serious momentum.
