Evans returns to Manchester United
Manchester United confirmed Jonny Evans has returned the club, signing a one-year contract until June 2024. The former United Academy graduate has been capped 102 times for Northern Ireland during a fantastic career so far.
In his previous spell at Old Trafford he won three Premier League titles, two League Cups and also the FIFA World Club Championship. He also won the 2021 FA Cup with Leicester City.

Manchester City loan Joao Cancelo to Barcelona
Note: there is no option to make the deal permanent
The Manchester City and Portugal full-back Joao Cancelo has joined Barcelona on loan until the end of the season. It will be interesting to see if they do look to make the move permanent eventually.
Liverpool sign Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich
Liverpool have signed another midfielder and continued their summer rebuild. The Anfield club have announced that they have signed midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in a deal worth about £34.3m. He has signed a five-year contract.
Peter, a Liverpool fan who has a Season Ticket, told us: "That is a good midfield overhaul for Liverpool in the end. There are some good, younger players for us who should be able to put a better title challenge together."

Joao Felix joins Barcelona on loan
Felix spent the second half of last season at Chelsea but will spend the rest of this campaign with Barcelona. It has also been reported that the 23-year-old Portugal international has also extended his contract with Atletico for two years, until 2029. It remains to be seen where his future is for the medium term.
Chelsea announce another signing
They have announced the signing of Cole Palmer from Manchester City in a deal worth £40m, with £2.5m in add-ons.

Manchester United sign defensive cover
Sergio Reguilon has joined Manchester United on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until June 2024.
In an eventful career so far, he has played 230 games for clubs including Real Madrid, Sevilla, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, and won six caps for Spain.
The defender has won the Europa League and FIFA Club World Cup and will hope to add to that during this spell at Manchester United.
Tottenham sign Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest
After great discussion and rumours, Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Nottingham Forest and Wales winger Brennan Johnson. The North London side have made an impressive start to the season, and this is another good addition.

Sofyan Amrabat joins Manchester United on loan from Fiorentina
The Manchester United website has reported that Sofyan Amrabat has joined the club on loan until June 2024. This includes an option to buy.
Last season, he played a key role as ACF Fiorentina reached the final of the Coppa Italia and UEFA Europa Conference League. Amrabat also impressed for his country in the World Cup, and this was where clubs across Europe started to take notice of him.
Ken, a Manchester United fan, said: "We needed midfield cover in the summer. Mount and Amrabat are fantastic additions and will allow us to rotate the squad throughout the season. I am happy."
