Is Arne Slot under pressure at Anfield?
Now, this is a question we didn't think be asking a few weeks ago...
This is a man who has already secured his place in Liverpool folklore.

The 47-year-old Reds manager is immortalised on a banner that stretches across the Kop before every home game, his face displayed alongside the greats: Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan, Kenny Dalglish, Rafael BenĂtez and JĂĽrgen Klopp, the select group of Liverpool managers to have lifted either the league title or the European Cup.
After claiming the Premier League crown in his debut season and spending close to £450m on a refreshed squad over the summer, it appeared Arne Slot would continue his winning momentum into the new campaign. Liverpool began their title defence with five successive victories, though often relying on late goals, but have since gone more than a month without a league win. They now sit seventh in the table, seven points adrift of leaders Arsenal, and suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Not just footballing reasons to blame
Liverpool supporter Hollie Espy offered a broader perspective on the club’s struggles.
"Key players are out of form, some are struggling with fitness or injury issues, and there is a lack of continuity from last season," she said.
"Much of this disruption stems from the summer transfer activity, much of which was necessary for one reason or another. I do not think many Liverpool fans would say they regret the departure of any players, aside from perhaps Luis DĂaz, and the type of player that Trent Alexander-Arnold is. The emotion surrounding that exit means I do not miss the man himself so much.
"The most significant factor, however, is that one of the players we lost over the summer was taken in the most tragic and unexpected circumstances. There are more reasons than footballing ones why that loss is completely immeasurable."
Other comments from Liverpool fans
Abigail: Walking to the game last night, my dad and I got the team sheet and we were like 'he's sacrificed this'. I understand we are losing games at the moment but you need to try to get a winning mentality back. Patience is running thin. I think there are two different sides of the fanbase at the moment.
Terry: To suggest he should lose his job after a match in which he fielded players many fans have never heard of is ludicrous.
Jerry: Liverpool operate differently and I cannot see us cutting Slot and his staff so soon. However, results are what count and if things do not improve quickly, then we all know how the road ends.
Frank: The players have to step up too, it should not all be on the manager. Some have been far below an acceptable standard for Liverpool.
