All the match reports from this weekend's Premier League
What were the biggest talking points?
There was another managerial sacking...
Arsenal finished the weekend top of the league and starting to look they could be favourites to win the title.
Nottingham Forest 0 - 3 Chelsea
A comfortable afternoon for Chelsea which resulted in the sacking of Ange Postlecoglou. Josh Acheampong and winger Pedro Neto struck soon after half-time. Captain Reece James later completed the scoring to secure a 3-0 victory for Chelsea.
The only downside for the away side came when Malo Gusto was sent off for a second yellow card in a hectic last few moments of the match.
Manchester City 2 - 0 Everton
Erling Haaland struck twice to extend his extraordinary scoring run and lift Manchester City to second in the Premier League with a hard-fought win over Everton.
Crystal Palace 3 - 3 Bournemouth
The game of the season so far? Jean-Philippe Mateta scored a hat-trick as Crystal Palace came from two goals down to draw with Bournemouth in a pulsating contest.
In a dramatic finale, Mateta completed his treble in the 97th minute after Marc Guehi was pulled down by Bafode Diakite as a corner was swung in from the left. There was still time for more late drama, but the French striker, who has now scored seven goals this season, fired over a chance to win it deep into stoppage time.
Sunderland 2 - 0 Wolves
Sunderland continued their impressive start to the Premier League season with a composed victory over struggling Wolves, who slipped to a sixth defeat in eight matches.

Burnley 2 - 0 Leeds United
Loum Tchaouna’s stunning second-half strike secured Burnley a much-needed victory over Leeds United. The Clarets had not tasted league success since overcoming Sunderland in August, but sealed a deserved three points when the France Under-21 winger unleashed a fierce 30-yard drive into the top corner.
Lesley Ugochukwu, who found the net in Burnley’s 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa before the international break, had earlier headed in Kyle Walker’s precise cross to put Scott Parker’s side in front.
Brighton & Hove Albion 2 - 1 Newcastle United
Danny Welbeck scored a late winner as Newcastle United’s struggles against Brighton at the Amex continued.

Fulham 0 -1 Arsenal
Leandro Trossard’s second-half strike proved decisive as Arsenal edged past a resilient Fulham to move three points clear at the top of the table.
Arsenal gradually found their rhythm in the match, with Riccardo Calafiori seeing a well-crafted finish ruled out for offside. The visitors returned from the interval with greater purpose, pinning Fulham back for long spells. Their breakthrough came on 58 minutes, when Gabriel flicked on Bukayo Saka’s corner and Trossard pounced at the back post to fire home.
Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 2 Aston Villa
Tottenham started brightly in this match, with Rodrigo Bentancur firing in a fine half-volley to give them an early lead. Moments later, Mohammed Kudus thought he had doubled the advantage, only for his effort to be ruled out for offside. Villa equalised through Morgan Rogers, but Tottenham continued to create chances as Mathys Tel failed to connect with a close-range volley after referee Simon Hooper allowed play to continue when the ball struck him, and Van de Ven headed over from a good position soon after.
Villa’s winner, their second effort on target, came against the run of play. Tottenham still had opportunities to level, but Randal Kolo Muani, making his first Premier League appearance since joining on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, and Brennan Johnson both failed to take their chances.
Liverpool 1 - 2 Manchester United
Harry Maguire’s late header earned Manchester United their first win at Anfield in almost a decade and deepened Liverpool’s woes with a fourth consecutive defeat.
