Ten-man Liverpool fight back against Fulham
Liverpool 2 - 2 Fulham
Diogo Jota made a dramatic return from injury to rescue a late point for Premier League leaders Liverpool, who twice came from behind with 10 men to draw against Fulham at Anfield following Andy Robertson's red card.
Fulham would have been frustrated with only a point in the end. There's plenty to be positive about though if you're a Fulham fan. Visit eurosuperfootball.blogspot.com/p/premier-le... for more reaction. Check out the highlights here - www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD3c...

Jota, sidelined since October, found the net in the 86th minute to equalise after Rodrigo Muniz appeared to have sealed victory for Fulham.
Earlier, Cody Gakpo had headed in Mohamed Salah's exquisite cross to level the score shortly after half-time, cancelling out Andreas Pereira's 11th-minute volley.
Liverpool’s task grew more challenging when Robertson was sent off for denying Harry Wilson a clear goalscoring opportunity. While Fulham’s Issa Diop had escaped with only a booking for a high challenge on the offside Robertson, VAR confirmed Wilson was onside, leading to the dismissal.
Wilson nearly added to Liverpool’s woes, sending the subsequent free-kick narrowly over Alisson’s goal, but Liverpool rallied. Luis Diaz squandered the hosts’ best chance of the first half, heading over from close range.
Premier League: 2024/2025 season
The second half began with Liverpool revitalised, and Gakpo’s equaliser reignited the Anfield faithful. Despite their numerical advantage, Fulham struggled to press home their dominance, while Salah came close to completing a Liverpool comeback on two occasions.
Just when it seemed the Reds might prevail, Muniz struck to restore Fulham's lead, delivering a crushing blow. However, there was more drama to come. Jota's sharp finish in the dying moments ensured a chaotic and breathless finale, leaving both sides to settle for a point.
Following a thrilling 3-3 draw with Newcastle 10 days earlier, Liverpool’s title rivals have edged closer. Last weekend’s Merseyside derby against Everton was postponed due to severe weather, further tightening the title race.
Is Liverpool's defence a concern?
It has been a fantastic start to the season for Liverpool, but it's clear they aren't perfect. After conceding those three goals against Newcastle United, they conceded another two poor goals in this match.
Robertson's sending-off means they'll need to make changes before their next game. They have now conceded more than any of the other sides currently sat in the top 4.
