Arsenal end winless run
Arsenal 3 - 0 Nottingham Forest
Arsenal reignited their title push with a much-needed victory over Nottingham Forest, securing their first win in five Premier League games.
The Gunners have struggled recently, hampered by a demanding fixture list and a spate of injuries, leaving them nine points adrift of league leaders Liverpool heading into Saturday’s match.

From the first whistle at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal were in control. Bukayo Saka broke the deadlock after 15 minutes, playing a slick one-two with Martin Ødegaard before weaving past two defenders and rifling a shot into the top corner.
Thomas Partey, introduced at half-time, made an immediate impact by curling in a superb effort from 20 yards to double the lead. Late on, teenager Ethan Nwaneri added gloss to the scoreline with a composed finish, wrapping up a comfortable win.
Nottingham Forest, one of the season's surprise packages, came into the game level on points with Arsenal but were outclassed. They failed to register a single shot on target, with weak headers from Ryan Yates and Nicolás DomÃnguez their only notable attempts.
Earlier, Jurrien Timber thought he had given Arsenal an early lead, tapping in from close range, but the goal was ruled out due to Mikel Merino straying offside in the build-up.
This match marked Mikel Arteta’s 250th in charge of Arsenal, and he will be hoping the result sparks a run of form to close the gap on their title rivals.

DJ, an Arsenal fan, gave insight into the match and his side's performance. He said: "How nice it is to write about three points in the Premier League again. Our team had a few surprises. Jorginho made a rare start, while Declan Rice and Thomas Partey sat on the bench. Additionally, the forward line consisting of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Gabriel Jesus was not our usual or strongest configuration. However, we started the match well and thought we had scored an early goal through Jurrien Timber, but it was disallowed.
"I believe we played some nice football in the first half, showcasing wonderful one-touch combinations that reflected confidence not always present this season. The match saw another reason why our captain, Odegaard, is so important to us. His game intelligence, and his ability to control and dictate the tempo of the game are second to none. Overall, this was a fantastic win."
