Netherlands: Ruud van Nistelrooy leaves PSV with immediate effect
PSV Eindhoven head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy has left before the final game of the season because of "a lack of support within the club", a club statement said.
Van Nistelrooy won the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup after taking over the role in March 2022.
PSV said talks about his future were set for Sunday, but the 46-year-old subsequently resigned. They are 10 points behind leaders Feyenoord and three points ahead of third-placed Ajax. They just need to avoid defeat to AZ Alkmaar at the weekend to secure a spot in the Champions League qualification stage.
Spain: Barcelona agrees to cancel Alba's contract.
It has been announced that Jordi Alba will leave Barcelona this summer after the Spanish champions have agreed to mutually terminate his contract a season early.
He will join Sergio Busquets in leaving this summer. Laoa, a Barcelona fan, told us: "He has been a fantastic player for us. I am sad that he is leaving but it's probably a good decision."

Southampton are close to announcing the appointment of Swansea City head coach Russell Martin as their new boss.
They have turned to Martin as they rebuild following Premier League relegation. The 37-year-old is set to replace the departing Ruben Selles.
Their recent relegation has forced the Southampton bosses into making some key changes to the running of the club.
