FA Cup reaction: West Ham overcame a huge scare against Kidderminster

Let's have a look at all the reaction  as West Ham United overcame a huge scare in the FA Cup fourth round

They beat National League North Kidderminster Harriers in extra time. You can watch the highlights of the match in the video below

Who said what?

After the match, Declan Rice said: "We watched a few videos of them this week, we’ve seen their results and they've been flying.

“Speaking to a couple of their players afterwards you can see they’re top guys, and you could see it on the bench with their manager. We weren't at our best today and scraped it with two late goals.

“Kidderminster fought for every ball. We weren’t at the races in the first half. Luckily enough, we got one back late in the second and then we nicked at the end.

David Moyes added: "It was difficult, not our best, but we’re thankful that we’re through to the next round.

"We kept going and got a little bit better at times and created one or two more chances but it looked as though it wasn’t going to be our day.

"In truth I think Kidderminster deserved the opportunity to take it to penalty kicks."

Both managers enjoyed a drink together after the game. This got a lot of positive reaction.

The Kidderminster Harriers owner Richard Lane recently spoke with local media about the positive impact of the cup run:"You can't budget for the FA Cup, however, and what this will do is help us greatly, not necessarily with just throwing money at the team as I don't think that's the right thing to do and I know Russ and Jimmy are magicians with that.

"What it will do is help us do things like upgrading the floodlights, which cost hundreds of thousands of pounds, as well as upgrading around the ground and we have an exhaustive list of refurbishments we need to do."
