FA Cup: Details of the third round draw

The draw of the third round of the FA Cup has been made.

Let's have a closer look at some of the matches

Boreham Wood or St Albans v AFC Wimbledon

Yeovil Town v Bournemouth

Charlie Wakefield's driven finish early in the second half against Stevenage was enough to put the Glovers into the hat for the third round. Their ultimate reward was a draw against Championship side Bournemouth.

Stoke City v Leyton Orient
Swansea City v Southampton
Chelsea v Chesterfield
Liverpool v Shrewsbury Town
Cardiff v Preston North End
Coventry City v Derby County
Burnley v Huddersfield
West Bromwich Albion v Brighton and Hove Albion

Kidderminster Harriers v Reading

Kidderminster Harriers are dreaming of more giant-killing exploits after upsetting FC Halifax at Aggborough to reach the third round of the FA Cup. Their reward is a home match against Reading. The away side will want to avoid a huge upset and go to have a decent run in the competition.

Leicester City v Watford
Mansfield Town v Middlesbrough
Hartlepool United v Blackpool
Hull City v Everton

Bristol City v Fulham

An all Championship encounter. It will be interesting to see how both prioritise this. Fulham will be focused on getting promotion back to the Premier League but Bristol City are firmly in the middle of the Championship.

Tottenham Hotspur v Morecambe
Millwall v Crystal Palace
Port Vale v Brentford
Swindon Town v Manchester City

Wigan Athletic v Blackburn Rovers

Can Wigan Athletic win the FA Cup again? It would be a big ask but they've already progressed through two rounds and face a home match against Blackburn in round three.

Luton Town v Harrogate Town
Birmingham City v Plymouth Argyle

Manchester United v Aston Villa

As a player Steven Gerrard had a mixed record against Manchester United. He scored some wonderful and crucial goals but their was also this red-card back in 2015. He takes his new Aston Villa side to Old Trafford. They already have one famous win at Old Trafford this season, can they have another?

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sheffield United
Newcastle United v Cambridge United
Barnsley v Ipswich Town or Barrow
Peterborough United v Bristol Rovers

West Ham United v Leeds United

One of few all Premier League encounters at this stage of the competition. Both West Ham and Leeds United will fancy their chances of a decent run in the competition but face a difficult task to avoid being knocked out an early stage. There's an interesting cup double on for West Ham this season.

Queens Park Rangers v Rotherham
Charlton Athletic v Norwich City
Nottingham Forest v Arsenal
