PL: A closer look at some of the weekend's action

Let's have a closer look at some recent Premier League action

Norwich City 0 - 0 Wolves

Norwich's fight against relegation continued as they more than matched Wolves in a goalless draw

It could easily have been more for the hosts. Teemu Pukki could only prod straight at goalkeeper Jose Sa in the second half.

Wolves were poor throughout and they faded out of the contest and were ultimately grateful for a point after Lukas Rupp's weak side-foot effort ended a promising Norwich move late on.

Norwich are now three points clear of bottom side Newcastle United.

Chelsea 1 - 1 Manchester United

It's been another busy week for Manchester United.

They prepared for the arrival of interim manager Ralf Rangnick by earning a battling point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

United kept Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench and mounted a large rearguard action until Jadon Sancho hit Chelsea on the break five minutes after half-time.

The former Dortmund winger pounced on poor control from Jorginho to race clear and beat Edouard Mendy with a composed finish after the hosts had dominated possession.

The home side were stung into action and Jorginho made amends for his error when he equalised from the penalty spot in the 69th minute.

Leicester City 4 - 2 Watford

Jamie Vardy scored twice as Leicester beat Watford in an entertaining match to ruin Claudio Ranieri's return.

The Italian was in the opponents' dugout for the first time since guiding the Foxes to the 2016 Premier League title. He obviously received a great reception from the home fans.
