Sheffield United 1 - 3 Leeds United Leeds United produced a remarkable late comeback for the second game in a row to win at Sheffield United and move five points clear at the top of the Championship. Leeds United 6 - 0 Stoke City Joel Piroe scored a hat-trick in the opening 20 minutes as Leeds United tore apart Stoke City.  Author - Oliver W Stadium - Elland Road The hosts made an electric start at what was a buoyant Elland Road as Piroe scored twice in the first eight minutes after poor deferynsive play from the visitors. Things went from bad to worse for the Potters when the Dutchman, the league's top scorer completed his treble from close range. This was before  Junior Firpo bundled in a fourth and Piroe made it 5-0 by half-time. The famous old stadium was bouncing.  The pace did drop off after the interval but Willy Gnonto headed in the sixth from Manor Solomon's whipped cross from the left. Stoke arrived at Elland Road unbeaten in five but this damaging defeat means they could yet get dragged back into relegation trouble. Leeds United 0 - 3 Middlesbrough  Middlesbrough secured a spot in the second round of the Carabao Cup after scoring three goals in just 16 minutes to defeat Championship rivals Leeds United at Elland Road. The first half was closely contested but the away side broke the deadlock when Anfernee Dijksteel drifted in from the right touchline and calmly slotted the ball into the corner of the net. As Leeds pushed forward, Josh Coburn played in Delano Burgzorg, who kept his composure and found the net with a deflected strike off Joe Rodon. West Ham United 2 - 3 Leeds United Jack Harrison scored his first career hat-trick as Leeds United avenged last week's FA Cup defeat with a thrilling Premier League victory over West Ham at London Stadium. The visitors, who lost 2-0 seven days ago, were pegged back twice before Harrison scored the pick of his three goals with a neat chip over Lukasz Fabianski as Leeds made it consecutive league wins for the first time this season. Leeds United 4 - 0 Norwich City  There was a fantastic atmosphere at Elland Road before the match. After a dill and dreary stalemate in the first leg, Leeds United were out to shine against Norwich City. The home side, who finished three places and 17 points above the Canaries, took a deserved early lead. Ilia Gruev's long-range free-kick beat Angus Gunn at his near post. Elland Road was bouncing Joel Piroe then made it 2-0 when he headed in Willy Gnonto's deep cross to the far post. Norwich keeper Gunn was caught in no man's land, this left them 2-0 early on and with a mountain to climb. Despite their poor performance, they did have opportunities that, if scored, would have made a game of it. They should have pulled one back immediately.
