The Dutch coach, 55, finished ahead of four rivals in the vote, with Chelsea’s Sonia Bompastor and Arsenal’s Renee Slegers among those shortlisted.
England clinched Euro 2025 in Switzerland by beating Spain 3-1 on penalties, the final ending 1-1 after extra time. The victory ensured Wiegman’s side successfully defended the title they first secured on home soil in 2021.
Wiegman has told the media: "This award means even more because it is named after Johan Cruyff. He believed in the power of sport and believed in every kid having the opportunity to play, to grow and to belong, and that is why I feel so connected with him."

The best reaction celebrating a deserved winner
England fan Andi Peters said: “Fitting. I think England trailed in most games at the Euros but had the tenacity to prevail, which I’m sure in some measure, is a reflection of Wiegman’s will and resilience too.”
Adrian added: “Epic results for Sarina and so well deserved. She’s done more for English football than any of those overpaid, pampered prima donnas we seem to oddly hold in high esteem.”
Aimee was also delighted, she added: “Wiegman operates on another level. It is not only her results that stand out but also her composure, authority and depth of knowledge. She is the best in the world.”
