Bukayo Saka’s second-half goal was enough to secure victory for Arsenal in their opening match of their Asia Tour, as Mikel Arteta’s side edged out Milan in Singapore.

The England international converted from close range after meeting Jakub Kiwior’s well-weighted cross, in a match that also featured debuts for three of Arsenal’s summer signings.

Everton continued their preparations for the new season with a narrow defeat to Blackburn Rovers. On an overcast day at Ewood Park, Dion De Neve’s composed early finish proved the difference. 

Hansa Rostock 3–1 Aston Villa | Report by Super Local Sports News

A fairly youthful Aston Villa side slipped to a 3–1 defeat against Hansa Rostock. This was Villa's second fixture of their 2025–26 pre-season campaign and was played in northern Germany.

The match formed part of the German side’s 60th anniversary celebrations, and their spirited second-half performance gave home fans reason to cheer.

Fulham 4 - 1 Aberdeen

Fulham's first pre-season test resulted in a comfortable victory over Scottish Cup winners Aberdeen. Marco Silva provided playing time for 21 players in this behind-closed-doors friendly.

Harry Wilson scored two goals in the first half, first converting a penalty after Timothy Castagne was fouled, and then scoring from the left with an assist from Alex Iwobi. In the second half, Rodrigo Muniz headed in a goal from a corner taken by Harrison Reed, and Josh King scored with an assist from Martial Godo on the right.

Manchester United 0 - 0 Leeds United | Report my GM Super News 

A good workout for two Premier League sides in Sweden. Manchester United and Leeds United played out a goalless draw on their first pre-season outing.

Brighton & Hove Albion 6 - 1 Wycombe Wanderers 

Brighton began their pre-season preparations with an impressive victory over League One side Wycombe in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre. 

Danny Welbeck netted four goals in the first half, while Facundo Buonanotte and Charlie Tasker added to the scoreline after the break on a scorching afternoon.

Preston North End 1 - 3 Liverpool

Arne Slot chose to field two different line-ups in each half at Deepdale. The first-half team included Giorgi Mamardashvili, while the second-half line-up featured Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez.

Conor Bradley opened the scoring soon after the half-hour mark. In the early stages of the second half, Darwin Nunez extended the lead to 2-0, and Cody Gakpo added a third goal later on, after Preston's Liam Lindsay had scored.
