Burnley and Leeds show defensive strength
Burnley 0 - 0 Leeds United
Burnley secured their 20th clean sheet of the season with a lacklustre goalless draw against Championship leaders Leeds in tough conditions in east Lancashire.

Both sides struggled to carve out clear chances, and it wasnāt until the 89th minute that either goalkeeper was tested, with Burnleyās James Trafford tipping Dan Jamesā effort over the bar.
Scott Parkerās Clarets, sitting third in the table, have now gone over 10 hours without conceding a league goal ā a defensive run stretching back to 21 December. Yet, in this rain-soaked contest, their attack lacked the same resilience, with Zian Flemmingās misjudged header from Jaidon Anthonyās first-half cross their only real opportunity.
The draw keeps Leeds two points clear at the top of the table, extending their unbeaten run to 11 matches, while second-placed Sheffield United remain in pursuit.
For Burnley, their promotion push is firmly underpinned by defensive solidity, having conceded just nine goals in 29 matches. They are now just five clean sheets shy of Queens Park Rangersā Championship record of 25 in a season.
However, while the Clarets have stretched their unbeaten streak to 16 games, concerns linger over their firepower. Mondayās draw marked their ninth 0-0 of the campaign, and their tally of 36 goals is matched by Portsmouth, who sit in 21st place.

After the match, a Burnley fan by the name of 'Big John' told us: "I suppose we'll know at the end of the season whether that was one point gained or two points dropped. On a positive note, we look amazing defensively, which will give us a great chance of getting promoted. However, it's clear we need more creativity. Weāre just so boring at times, and the fans are almost craving some excitement. Onwards and upwards, though."
