Scotland: Latest news from the Scottish Premiership

Let's explore some of Saturday's news and stories from the Scottish Premiership.

Aberdeen 3 - 1 Motherwell

Aberdeen roared back to form with an emphatic win over Motherwell

Kevin van Veen's penalty offered only a consolation for Motherwell, who are 11 games without a league win. They are only off the bottom on goal difference.

Duk's header capped Aberdeen's first-half dominance before two delicious finishes from Bojan Miovski halted the Pittodrie side's sequence of five straight defeats.

Hearts 3 - 1 Dundee United

Stephen Humphrys scored the goal of the season after his Hearts side came back to sink 10-man Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

Humphrys scored Hearts' third goal in stoppage-time from his own half. That stunning strike came after Lawrence Shankland and Alex Cochrane turned the game in the hosts' favour in the last 20 minutes.

Steven Fletcher had given United a deserved lead before Ryan Edwards' red card for a tackle on Andy Halliday changed the game before the break.

Livingston 3 - 1 Kilmarnock

Livingston moved up to fourth in the Scottish Premiership as three goals inside the opening half-an hour earned a comfortable win over Kilmarnock.

Joel Nouble made his mark on his first start since November, nodding the hosts in front. This was before a cushioned Bruce Anderson finish and a sensational Stephen Kelly volley left Kilmarnock stunned and struggling.

Christian Doidge's first goal for the visitors wasn't enough as the Ayrshire club continue their search for a first away league win of the season.

Livingston now continues their pursuit of Europe. That is something that will be a huge boost for the club's finances and profile.
