UCL reaction: Villarreal 0 - 2 Manchester United
Let's have a look at all the reaction as Manchester United secured their passage to the next stage of the Champions League.
United's goals came from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho. They will be hoping to take a bit of confidence into a crucial period. You can watch the highlights of this match in the video below.
More reaction from United
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire told BT Sport: "It's massive for our season. The last couple of months have been nowhere near good enough and we needed to get a result for our season and our fans. We need to make sure that's just the start and we push on.
"The emphasis was getting a result. Coming away from home in Europe you have to be solid. We got what we deserved in the end because of the chances we created.
"Ronaldo has been brilliant. We need to get back to being solid because if we do that we have every chance to win games when we have him up front."
Former Manchester United and current BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand added: "Managers that depart in the way Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did know there's going to be a bounce in the squad and something might happen.
"This performance was more about soaking up the pressure and it reminded me of when Ole first took charge before he had actually signed a contract and they went on that incredible run. I'm sure that on Saturday against Chelsea the performance will be a replica of that second-half performance."
Proud to score my first goal for @ManUtd in the best competition in world football @ChampionsLeague !

Not everyone is happy
There is still annoyance at the overall situation at the club. One fan said: "Embarrassing that these players suddenly turn up again after they lost the last man the job. Many United fans have very short memories."
