This is the place for Women's Football Weekend news
Two huge derby matches and a meeting of English football giants are headlining Women's Football Weekend
The event sees the women's club game become the focal point of the domestic football schedule in England during the international break in the men's game.
Birmingham City v Aston Villa
Aston Villa and Birmingham City Women continue their league campaign as they face each other in the Second City derby.
The match gives Villa an opportunity to open up a 10-point gap between themselves and 12th-placed Leicester City, a gap which would go a long way to seeing them secure Women's Super League status so early on in the season.

Everton v Manchester United
Manchester United Women make the short trip to Everton. They are unbeaten in their last three WSL games. In October, they beat Birmingham 2-0 at St. Andrew’s before drawing with rivals Manchester City 2-2 at Leigh Sports Village.
A cruel injury-time equaliser cost them two points in our last fixture, against Spurs last weekend, but defeat was still avoided as the sides drew 1-1. United are currently fifth in the WSL table with 11 points from their first six league matches.

Manchester City v Chelsea
Manchester City are likely to be without Khadija Shaw. The striker has missed the last two games with a foot injury, having been brought off at half-time of the last Chelsea visit to the Academy Stadium a fortnight ago.
Previewing this weekend’s crunch clash, Head Coach Gareth Taylor confirmed that they no new injury concerns but admitted Shaw may not be ready for a return

Tottenham v Arsenal
After six matches, Spurs side sit third in the table with four wins and 13 points, with their only loss being to Brighton & Hove Albion. Along the way they’ve picked up one major, if fortunate, win away at last season’s runners-up Manchester City.
Compare that to last season’s campaign, which saw them pick up a total of 20 points from 22 matches, and this is looking like it could be a breakthrough season for Tottenham. See the Women's Super League Twitter feed for all the latest news from this game and more.
