Post match reaction

Most of the post match reaction focused on West Ham's great run of form and where they could potentially finish the season. In an interesting article for the BBC, former Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder was full of praise for the job David Moyes is doing:

David is someone I have got a huge admiration for, going back to when he started out at Preston and then shaking a big club from top to bottom like he did at Everton.

He gave his Everton team an identity that matched the club's own - they are known as the people's club - and a way of playing that their fans really enjoyed.

That is the type of club that likes to see the qualities that a David Moyes team brings. He won three League Managers' Association Manager of the Year awards there, so obviously inside the game he is incredibly highly respected.

Michail Antonio tweeted: "Fearless on the road! Massive performance from every player on the pitch tonight."

Mark Noble was full of praise for the West Ham academy. Over the years, they have produced many quality players that gone to have fantastic careers in the Premier League: "Our academy just keeps on producing."

Aston Villa's poor run of form has continued. They have struggled for consistency since that famous win at Old Trafford. Their fans will be hoping that they recover quickly and start to move up the table once again. Watch the video below to hear the thoughts of Villa manager Dean Smith.

One Villa fan was highly critical of the performance. He said: " I love you Deano. You gave this club an identity but you’ve taken us as far as you can. Plus, it looks like you’ve lost the dressing room to me. Thank you for everything you’ve done but it’s time to step aside before this season is an absolute write off and relegation battle."
