Championship reaction: Fulham 0 - 0 Derby County

Fulham were unable to find a breakthrough in the absence of Aleksandar Mitrovic as they were held to a 0-0 draw by bottom club Derby at Craven Cottage.

They were seeking an eighth successive win but they were denied by Wayne Rooney’s side. The home side were left frustrated after being unable to capitalise on a succession of good chances.

Let's have a look at some of the best reaction

Wayne Rooney said after the game: “It is a good point, a very difficult game against one of the best teams in the division. After the last week, to get four points against Bournemouth and Fulham, they deserve credit for that.”

“I give the players big demands every day and they haven’t let me down one bit, We’ll keep fighting and pushing, you never know – even if there’s a small chance of staying up.”

Silva added: “It wasn’t our best performance but we created enough to win the game. It’s something that can happen. We lost to Blackpool when Mitro played, he is an important player but he is not the reason we didn’t win the game.”

Fulham's Tim Ream added: "Not the result we wanted but another clean sheet and 8 unbeaten Flexed biceps a good few of the boys have been wiped out the last few days so credit to everyone for getting through tonight. Catch you when the sun comes up."

Derby fans are proud

Derby's fans are clearly proud of the effort being displayed by their team. Following a points deduction, they would be happy with simply avoiding relegation this season. One fan tweeted: "Four points out of the top two. What a performance. Well done you mighty Rams!"
