There was concern for the 2022 finalists shortly before the break when captain Gwinn left the pitch in tears after injuring herself while making a crucial challenge to deny Ewa Pajor. She initially tried to carry on but was eventually helped off by medical staff. WĂĽck confirmed Gwinn will undergo a scan in Zurich on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury. But with the interval approaching, Caruso latched onto a defence-splitting pass from Lucia Di Guglielmo and calmly guided her finish into the top corner. Italy threatened to extend their lead after the break in Sion. Captain Cristiana Girelli saw her audacious back-heel saved by Lisa Lichtfus, while Michela Cambiaghi squandered a golden chance when clean through on goal. Spurred on by the home crowd, Switzerland took a deserved lead when Nadine Riesen capitalised on a loose ball inside the area, her finish clipping the post on its way in. Norway, twice champions of this competition, were unconvincing in the first half and failed to register a single shot on target. But the game turned after the break as Switzerland’s early control slipped away. Bayer Leverkusen's squad will look very different next season They have completed the signing of Jarell Quansah from Liverpool in a deal worth £35m. German Cano opened the scoring for the Brazilian side with a stooping header inside three minutes, before substitute Hercules curled in a second from the edge of the box against the run of play during a nervy final 25 minutes. Inter had their chances to level before the second goal. Lautaro Martinez struck the post late on and Federico Dimarco went close with two free-kicks and a tight-angled effort from close range. But the best opportunity fell to Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij after Martinez’s clever knockdown. Mamelodi Sundowns 3 - 4 Borussia Dortmund Jobe Bellingham scored his first goal for Borussia Dortmund as they claimed a 4-3 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns. Although Dortmund took all three points, they were second best for long periods of the match. Sundowns struck first. In the 11th minute, Lucas Ribeiro Costa picked up the ball inside the centre circle, drove through the middle of the Dortmund defence and calmly slotted past Gregor Kobel. The lead was short-lived.
