Reading are to appoint former Southampton head coach Ruben Selles as their new manager. The 40-year-old Spaniard will take over subject to him obtaining a visa, which the club applied for last week. Selles took charge of Southampton following Nathan Jones' departure in February but only won two of his 17 matches at the helm as Saints finished bottom of the Premier League. Both sets of fans created an incredible atmosphere during the match They beat Coventry City on penalties to win the Championship play-off final at Wembley. Away from the raucous atmosphere of the play-off semi-final at Kenilworth Road, some were concerned that Luton might struggle in the more vast space of Wembley. However, they were by far the more dominant side before the break. Aside from the one goal they did score, they had two more disallowed - and a string of other dangerous moments too. Sheffield Wednesday 5 - 1 Peterborough United  (The match finished 5-5 on aggregate, Sheffield Wednesday won 5-3 on penalties.) James Plant had given Vale the perfect start when he raced through to fire past keeper Callum Burton in the third minute. Midfielder Adam Randell restored parity with a low right-footed shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box before Joe Edwards fired the Pilgrims ahead four minutes later.  Blackpool 6 - 1 QPR Blackpool picked up a massive three points with a dominant victory over QPR. Goals from Jerry Yates, Andy Lyons, Curtis Nelson and Jordan Thorniley had Pool four up after 36 minutes. Chris Martin got a goal back for QPR before the break.  Leicester City 1 - 2 Blackburn Rovers Championship promotion contenders Blackburn Rovers caused an FA Cup fifth-round upset by stunning 2021 cup winners Leicester City. Backburn's dynamic display, in which they should have scored more goals, gave them a place in the last eight for the first time in eight years. Having been denied by Daniel Iversen's flying save, Tyrhys Dolan curled past Leicester's Danish goalkeeper for the opener. Ryan Hedges then missed a gilt-edged opportunity to double the visiting side's lead at the start of the second period when he failed to hit the target from 10 yards out. This didn't prove costly as Sammie Szmodics wriggled clear to convert Rovers' second in the 52nd minute, while the midfielder also had a goal ruled out for offside. Substitute Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one back for the Foxes by slotting in from close range. However, it wasn't enough. Many fans would have thought there was a good opportunity of a cup run there.

Cardiff City 1 - 0 Reading Cardiff City's recent mini-revival under new boss Sabri Lamouchi continued thanks to a later winner against Reading. Romaine Sawyers fired in from the edge of the box in the 91st minute to claim a deserved win. This was the club's second in a week under their new manager. A first home win since October lifts the Bluebirds five points clear of the Championship relegation zone. Reading will stay 15th in the table but could have no complaint over the loss despite the timing of the goal. A closer look at the match The closest Reading came was a blunder by Cardiff goalkeeper Ryan Allsop, who kicked thin air as Yakou Meite closed in. Neil Warnock is back in football Huddersfield Town have reappointed Warnock for his second spell as manager, with the 74-year-old coming out of retirement to take charge. He returns almost 30 years after his first stint, during which he led the Terriers to promotion via the third-tier play-offs in 1994-95.
