Women's Euro 2022: England beat Spain in extra time

 England 2 - 1 Spain Is it coming home? England are through to the semi-finals of the European Women's Championship after coming from behind to beat pre-tournament favourites Spain in extra time. Georgia Stanway sent the Amex Stadium crazy when she thumped in the winner after Sarina Wiegman's side had trailed up until the 84th minute of normal time. Football's Coming Home broke out in the stands as Stanway sprinted over to the corner to celebrate, with England leading for the first time after 95 minutes. West Ham gained revenge for Sunday's defeat against Manchester United by knocking them out of the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford. Manuel Lanzini's ninth-minute effort, his first goal in almost a year proved enough to take David Moyes' men into the last 16 of the competition. Watch the extended highlights below. It was the first Old Trafford triumph for the Hammers since Carlos Tevez's winner in 2007 kept them in the Premier League. It was their first victory over Man United at Old Trafford in a cup competition since Paolo di Canio scored the only goal in 2001. Everyone at European Super Football was saddened by the death of Jimmy Greaves Greaves is often regarded as one England’s greatest strikers and a member of the squad that won the 1966 World Cup During his career, Greaves scored 132 goals for Chelsea in 169 matches between 1957 and 1961. He then moved to Tottenham and becoming their all-time top scorer with 266 goals in 379 appearances. He also scored 44 England goals in 57 appearances – including six hat-tricks. A statement on the Tottenham website read : “We are extremely saddened to learn of the passing of the great Jimmy Greaves, not just Tottenham Hotspur’s record goalscorer but the finest marksman this country has ever seen.” It goes onto say: "there’s no question that Jimmy’s arrival in N17 made us an even better team.  Sweden 0 - 0 USA (Sweden won 5-4 on penalties) USA are out of the Women's World Cup as they were stunned by Sweden on penalties in Melbourne. Premier League news: Divock Origi to leave Anfield at the end of the season

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Divock Origi will leave the club in the summer. The 27-year-old Belgium striker is out of contract at the end of the season, having not played enough games this term to trigger a one-year extension to the deal.  Manchester United 4 - 2 Sheffield United Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes scored twice to ensure that another chaotic performance ended with a victory against relegation-threatened Sheffield United.  With the visitors taking the lead twice, The Red Devils were on the verge of a humiliating loss to a team that had only won three times this season Fernandes levelled from the penalty spot before driving Manchester United in front from 25 yards nine minutes from time. Four minutes later, the Portuguese created a first goal since February for striker Rasmus Hojlund. This moved his side up to sixth spot and earned praise from his manager and many fans inside Old Trafford. Harry Maguire  had previously levelled the score to make it 1-1.   Despite a much-improved performance from Sheffield United, you'd still have to say Manchester United deserved this win.  Jose Mourinho is set to become the new manager of Fenerbahce The 61-year-old will take over from Ismail Kartal, who left Fenerbahce after they finished second in the league to city rivals Galatasaray.  Despite losing just one game and recording 99 points last season, Fenerbahce finished as runners-up. How much of an impact will have Mourinho in Turkey? Is Julen Lopetegui moving to London? It has been reported that Julen Lopetegui has agreed to become the next manager of West Ham at the end of the season. Update - It has now been announced that David Moyes will definitely leave the club at the end of the season. While nothing has been finalised, the 57-year-old is close to making a return to management after leaving Wolves in August of last year. The current West Ham manager, David Moyes, has started mounting pressure due to a poor run of results. The Hammers have won only one of their last nine Premier League games, and were eliminated from the quarter-finals of the Europa League. They were recently thrashed 5-0 by Chelsea on Sunday, leaving them ninth in the table. Bolton Wanderers 0 - 2 Oxford United  Josh Murphy's double helped his Oxford United side stun Bolton Wanderers in the League One play-off final at Wembley. In what was a cagey first half, Oxford took the lead on the 30 minute mark. Josh Murphy curled a deflected strike home from the edge of the box. Murphy had only 11 minutes to wait for his next goal.
