Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Netherlands forward Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven. The deal is worth £35.4m-£44.3m and the Eredivisie club say it is a record transfer fee for them. Nottingham Forest 1 - 0 Liverpool Nottingham Forest delivered a fine performance to shock Liverpool and picked up only their second win of the season. Taiwo Awoniyi hit the winner from close range after his initial attempt came back off a post. The away side were a long way from their best and they remain without an away league win this season. How much of an impact will this deal have a both clubs? Liverpool have agreed a £35.1m deal to sell Sadio Mane to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. The Reds will get a fixed £27.4m upfront with performance-related clauses to follow depending on success. Liverpool turned down two bids from Bayern before the two clubs settled on a move for the 30-year-old, whose deal with the Reds ran until next summer. He joined Liverpool for £31m plus £2.5m in add-ons from Southampton in 2016. Since then, Mane scored 90 Premier League goals for the Anfield club and finished last season with 23 goals in all competitions. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Divock Origi will leave the club in the summer. The 27-year-old Belgium striker is out of contract at the end of the season, having not played enough games this term to trigger a one-year extension to the deal. Chelsea 0 - 0 Liverpool (Liverpool win 6-5 on penalties) Liverpool won their second trophy of the season and they keep their quadruple dream alive After a tense 120 minutes, Liverpool triumphed on penalties. They have won the FA Cup for the first time since 2006.  Before the drama of the penalties, it was a close fairly close game for the majority, even if Liverpool did have more shots. Chelsea did have their moments.  Both sides struggled to find that finishing touch and it finished 0-0. Liverpool became the first English side to win six Champions League group games as they picked up a victory over AC Milan in Italy. Jurgen Klopp made several changes with qualification for the last 16 already assured as group winners. However, the Serie A leaders went in search of the win they hoped would secure their own passage into the last 16. Milan's hopes rose on the half-hour when Takumi Minamino missed a near-post corner and goalkeeper Alisson could only push the ball out to Fikayo Tomori, who then scored from close range. Despite all the changes, Mohamed Salah was stikl in the starting line-up and once again demonstrated his ability with an equaliser that came seven minutes later. Goals from Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi secured Liverpool's place in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals. This came at the expense of a resolute Preston North End side at Deepdale. You can watch Liverpool conquer the Championship side in the video below. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp named an entirely different Liverpool side to the one which thrashed Manchester United 5-0 on Sunday.
