Premier League: Bournemouth beat Newcastle

AFC Bournemouth 2 - 0 Newcastle United Dominic Solanke scored twice against Newcastle to give his side a deserved win. Despite Bournemouth squandering numerous opportunities in the first half, Solanke finally broke the deadlock after an hour, seizing a lucky bounce off Joe Willock to calmly slot the ball in from close quarters. Solanke wasn't done yet, doubling Bournemouth's lead 13 minutes later by flicking in a rebound from Luis Sinisterra's header that had hit the post. It was a tough break for Newcastle, missing key players like the suspended Bruno Guimaraes and the injured Callum Wilson, with Miguel Almiron also forced off in the first half. The match showcased Solanke's prowess and added to the woes for the visiting side. In such a close season at the top and bottom, this one match could have a huge impact on both teams chances.  Celtic 2 - 1 St Mirren Hyeon-Gyu Oh made a crucial contribution as he emerged from the bench to secure a comeback victory for Celtic in a hard-fought match against St Mirren. Sevilla 1-2 Arsenal Gabriel Jesus played a pivotal role in helping Arsenal secure a much-needed victory in the Champions League against Sevilla.  After a disappointing 2-1 loss to Lens in their previous European match, the Gunners faced a challenging test against the seven-time Europa League champions. The match began with Gabriel Martinelli making his Champions League debut and scoring a goal for Arsenal. He skillfully capitalised on a brilliant pass from Gabriel Jesus, skillfully maneuvering past the goalkeeper just before halftime. In the early stages of the second half, Jesus extended Arsenal's lead with a magnificent shot that found the top corner of the net.
