UEFA Nations League: Denmark stun France

France 1 - 2 Denmark Andreas Cornelius scored twice as Denmark came from behind to beat holders France in the Nations League. Karim Benzema opened the scoring with a stunning effort. He cut in from the right-wing before dummying his way past three defenders and slotting in. Cornelius volleyed in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's ball over the top to level. The 60th-minute substitute won the game when he ran onto a long ball before firing in. This was the first time the former Cardiff striker has scored twice in an international game. What a time to do it! Denmark look like a team that are on the rise. It will be interesting to see them progress over the next few years. Both sides had several chances in a lively opening game to group A1. In the first half, Denmark's Joakim Maehle hit the outside of the post and Benzema had a goal disallowed. Manchester United have announced that Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard will leave the club once their contracts expire Both players drew widespread attention as part of United's Youth Cup winning side of 2011. Pogba departs again.  A statement on United's website reads: "The club can announce that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of June, upon the expiry of his contract." The Frenchman has enjoyed a long association with United, having joined the club's Academy from Le Havre at the age of just 16. Pogba quickly progressed through the ranks, first impressing in the Under-18s and then swiftly moving upwards to the Reserves. In the 2011/2012 season, he made a few appearances. However, in the summer of 2012, due to strong competition for places at Old Trafford, Pogba joined Italian giants Juventus. Striker Robert Lewandowski has said his story is over at Bayern Munich  The Polish striker now seeks a move from the German champions this summer. Lewandowski has a year left on his contract. Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic said that the 33-year-old had expressed a desire to leave. Lewandowski joined the club in 2014 from Borussia Dortmund and has won eight Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 2020. He scored 50 goals in 46 games for Bayern this season, and has scored 344 goals in 375 games during his eight-year stay, a total second only to Gerd Muller at the club. Liverpool 0 - 1 Real Madrid Liverpool's bid to claim the Champions League trophy for the seventh time ended in disappointment as Real Madrid won in Paris. Jurgen Klopp's side were thwarted by Thibaut Courtois. The former Chelsea keeper produced one of the great individual performances to stopLiverpool time and again. Mohamed Salah was denied six times by Courtois who was simply unbeatable. Real were always a threat and the decisive moment came after 59 minutes when Vinicius stole in unmarked at the far post to score. The victory also sees Carlo Ancelotti make history by becoming the first coach to win a fourth Champions League title. Now for a look at the other end of the table After a dramatic final day Burnley were relegated from the Premier League as a home loss to Newcastle United condemned them to the Championship. At the start of the day, Burnley were above Leeds on goal difference, but Jesse Marsch's side won 2-1 at Brentford to end the Clarets' six-year spell in the top flight. Immediate reaction Burnley defender James Tarkowski told the media : "We’re devastated but over the season we've not been good enough. We need to be better than we have been and we've got our just reqwards by not doing enough. "
