Let's explore the new manager of Manchester United Early days in management In 2012, Ten Hag was appointed as manager of Go Ahead Eagles in the Eerste Divisie by Marc Overmars, who was a shareholder of the club. This is an announcement that has shocked the Premier League Burnley have sacked manager Sean Dyche with eight games left of their season. The Clarets have lost five of their last six top-flight games and are 18th and four points from safety. Two Spanish sides progressed in the Champions League after an epic night full of drama Real Madrid 2 - 3 Chelsea (Agg 5-4) Chelsea's reign as champions of Europe came to an end despite beating Real Madrid on a night of high drama and tension at the Bernabeu Stadium. Manchester City captain Fernandinho has announced his plans to leave the club in the summer. The midfielder revealed his intentions prior to City's game at Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final. Fernandinho, 36, signed a one-year contract extension with City last June. When asked if he expected to still be at Etihad Stadium next season, he said: "No, I want to play regularly." The midfielder has won a number of trophies during his time in Manchester. This includes four Premier League titles and six EFL Cups since joining City from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013. He has made 23 appearances for the club this season, but started just six times in the Premier League as the club bid to retain the title.
