Reports say Real Madrid have agreed deal for Antonio Rudiger  Reports in Spain suggest that Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger when his contract expires at the end of the season. On Sunday, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel told the media Rudiger had failed to agree a new deal with the European champions. Rudiger has also spoken to Bayern Munich and he was offered a contract worth more than £200,000 to stay at Chelsea. The 29-year-old is expected to sign a four-year-old deal at the Bernabeu with a medical set to take place in London. European Super Football understands the various fees that had been demanded by Rudiger's camp proved far too steep for Chelsea. The reaction to this transfer have been interesting. Manchester City captain Fernandinho has announced his plans to leave the club in the summer. The midfielder revealed his intentions prior to City's game at Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final. Fernandinho, 36, signed a one-year contract extension with City last June. When asked if he expected to still be at Etihad Stadium next season, he said: "No, I want to play regularly." The midfielder has won a number of trophies during his time in Manchester. This includes four Premier League titles and six EFL Cups since joining City from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013. He has made 23 appearances for the club this season, but started just six times in the Premier League as the club bid to retain the title. Aston Villa have announced that they have agreed to sign Philippe Coutinho on loan.  The deal is subject to a medical and a work permit being granted and includes an option to buy the former Liverpool player. Coutinho joined Barcelona in a £142m move from Liverpool in January 2018. His impact at the club hasn't been great, scoring only 26 goals in 106 appearances. Villa boss Steven Gerrard described his former team-mate as a special footballer recently. The pair were key parts of a Liverpool side who fell just short of winning the Premier League back in 2014. Newcastle United sign Kieran Trippier

Newcastle United have announced the signing of defender Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid. He is their first signing of what is expected to be a busy transfer window and the first player brought in by Eddie Howe. Trippier was part of the Spurs side that reached the Champions League final in 2019. He then moved Atletico Madrid, where he won La Liga. Internationally, the defender made his debut for England in 2017 and was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2020. It is being reported across Spanish media that Real Madrid will not try to sign Kylian Mbappe in January.  They will instead target the  striker next summer, when he is out of contract with PSG.  Similar outlets in Spain are also reporting that Philippe Coutinho will snub Newcastle United in January. Many believe he has no intention of leaving Barcelona.  Wolves are ready to sell Spain winger Adama Traore in January as talks over a new deal continue to stall. As the January transfer window gets closer, let's have a look at some of the news and rumours. The constant changing in managers at all levels is starting to have an impact. Several reports have indicated that Tottenham and Manchester City are interested in signing 21-year-old Fiorentina and Serbia striker Dusan Vlahovic in January. However, they would need to pay around 70 million pounds.  Donny van de Beek has decided to leave Manchester United in January. La Liga news: Barcelona re-sign Dani Alves

Barcelona have announced reached an agreement in principle to re-sign 38-year-old defender Dani Alves. Five years after he originally left the Nou Camp for Juventus. Alves has won nine top-flight titles with Barca, Juve and Paris St-Germain. He will arrive on a free transfer for the rest of the 2021-22 season. He spent eight years at Barcelona between 2008 and 2016 winning La Liga six times and also won three Champions League titles and the Copa del Rey on four occasions.  In a statement announcing the news on their official website. Barcelona described Alves as: "The greatest right-back in Barca history"  "The Brazilian will be joining training from next week but will not be able to play until January." Dani Alves first came to the club in the summer of 2008 after five brilliant seasons in Sevilla.
