Jude Bellingham and Mats Hummels both scored incredible goals in a 3-1 victory for Borussia Dortmund away to Arminia Bielefeld as they kept pace with those at the top of the Bundesliga They came into the game without Erling Haaland, who has been sidelined for a couple of weeks with an injury. Raphael Guerreiro, Gio Reyna, Thomas Meunier and Mo Dahoud were also among the team's absentees. Bielefeld perhaps sensed a chance to pull off a surprise result and they began well, defending compactly and going aggressively into the challenges. Despite the home side's decent start to the match, Emre Can soon put Dortmund in front. He converted from the penalty spot after Donyell Malen had been fouled, while Hummels gave his side a two-goal cushion with a sublime volley from the edge of the box on the stroke of half-time. Erling Braut Haaland scored twice on his return from injury as Borussia Dortmund secured a victory over Mainz. The Norwegian has now scored 49 times in 49 league matches for Dortmund and 70 goals in 68 matches in all competitions. That is an incredible return for someone who is still only 21. Bayern Munich extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table with a straightforward win at Greuther Furth. Thomas Muller opened the scoring before Joshua Kimmich doubled their advantage. Bayern were reduced to 10 men after the break when Benjamin Pavard was sent off, but they added a third through a Sebastian Griesbeck own goal. Furth did score a consolation late on but Bayern move three points clear of Wolfsburg. Bayern are in great form at the moment and have scored 29 goals in their last six games in all competitions.
